A Bluenoser moves to Hong Kong

What does Bluenoser got to do with it?

A Bluenoser is someone who was born and raised in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia on Canada's Atlantic coastline. So there you go, I'm just a country girl from rural Nova Scotia, transplanted to the "big city."  I must admit, I've had an infatuation with Hong Kong for quite a few years.  So it's no surprise that this is where I live now.   They say that if you think about something all the time, that thing will become your reality.  I guess that's what happened!

Living in Hong Kong

Now, you're probably wondering about this particular Bluenoser and why I decided to write a blog about living in Hong Kong.  It's not because I'm bored and don't know what to do with myself!  It's just that I dreamed about living here for so long and devoured every bit of information about the place that I could get my hands on.  In my blog I want to share images that will portray the city and the countryside from my own unique point of view.  Probably there will be a few surprises thrown into the mix as well. Forgive me if I go random on you!

I teach English at a learning center in Tai Po and Fanling.  Same center, two locations.  In my free time I like to go on self-guided tours and click, click, click with my camera.  I take pictures of everything.  Consequently, I have a lot of pictures!  I love traveling, cooking and gardening.  The gardening is a bit of a challenge on the 22nd floor, but I DO garden just the same!  It's kind of a passion of mine.  I can't believe I put it last on my list.

I am looking forward to sharing the things I love about Hong Kong with you.  I might also share some of the things I don't love about Hong Kong!  Hey, no place is perfect. There have been challenges galore.  Tell you more later...
